The onus is not on me to prove that the majority of Christians are not child abusers - as if such data even existed.

Like all of us, you view the world through the lens of your own experience. It sounds like your particular experience of certain Christians has not been good. And I am sorry for the hurt and the anger that you must feel as a result. Any kind of abuse is inexcusable. I write, in part, to bring to light the abuses of the church so I am with you in this.

Insinuating that there is causal a link between Christianity and sexual abuse though, I cannot go with you on that. Abuse is a human problem, not an exclusively Christian problem.
