I can understand that. Seems reasonable enough.

My wife has cancer, so of course I've wrestled with the same. But without God, all suffering is statistically unfortunately, but ultimately meaningless. I suppose I choose, instead to believe that this is not for nothing.

But, I understand why you might arrive at your position as well.

I do wonder why evolution hasn't grown out of us our propensity to be troubled by suffering.
